Surgical weight loss patients must be prepared to make a commitment to participation in post-operative support groups and long-term physician follow-up.

For the 4 weeks that immediately follow surgery, you will be required to attend NeWeigh’s Basic Aftercare Program. To increase your chances for weight loss success, you will need to participate in the Intermediate and Advanced support groups, as well.

Additionally, in the best interest of your health, you will be required to adhere to a post-operative schedule of follow-up office visits with your physician, and to undergo any other diagnostic tests or procedures that your physician deems necessary.
