NeWeigh hosts exciting, supportive and relaxing weekend-long gatherings that we call our "Retreat". This is just one of the Aftercare events NeWeigh organizes that distinguishes our Program.

Our Retreats have been on cruise ships, in resort destinations and at a variety of equally diverse and entertaining venues. These gatherings offer Program participants a wonderful opportunity to find support and camaraderie. It's great to share the experience of retreat with friends from your support group meetings and to form new and lasting relationships with participants from other NeWeigh locations.

These Retreat photos were taken at the event held at the Kemah Boardwalk near Houston, Texas. There was a variety of entertaining activities for the whole family to enjoy and group sessions for Program participants to attend. The highlight of the weekend for NeWeigh's staff and guests was the traditional "Before and After Show" in which Program participants dressed in clothing they had worn prior to their surgery. What fun it was to cheer along as one by one, participants peeled off their "Before" clothing to reveal the person underneath that each had become!
